Would it be wrong to ask for this back?

Okay my best friend moved to florida. I wanted her to remember me so I gave her my favorite necklace in the whole world and it was even though she my was my best friend a very hard thing for me to do. Well anyway she came back 2 ******* MONTHS LATER and wears the necklace every day! Whoevererspends the night i always tell her to take it off so it dondon'tt messed up (and she did mess it up and is very uncareful with it) and also we've been having some friendship problems cause i'm a girl who really don't care what you think and do what i want (but i'm still nice and stuff lol) but shes this shy chick who is embarred to do anything and barely ever frickin talks and I'm really getting tired of it. I don't want to completely ditch her because we're good friends and we know a lot about each other plus she doesn't have any other friends. So would it be rude to ask for the necklace back? If not then how do i?
