Who was moving West, and why?

both the indians and the settlers are moving west, because of the indian removal act of 1830 (a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Removal_Act)" rel="nofollow"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Remo…/a and the settlers are exploring the land that was claimed by france during the Lousiana Purchase. the land that they claimed was given to them, so yes it was money, land and power.
