R females really as jealous as people think?

I recently started datin this guy i was friends wit for about a year and he's just about everything ive ever wanted. He does alot for me gives me money whenever i need it takes me shoppin go out every weekend and even about to buy me a car and we get along great. He is one of the most popular guys at our college cuz he's known for the parties he throws. The problem is he doesnt want me to tell anyone the things he does for me because he says females are jealous and will try to break us up by tryin to get wit him at his parties and stuff cuz they want to be happy just like i am. So are females as jealous as he thinks we are to do somethin like that?
