What is the nicest (upscale) restaurant you have ever eaten at?
Maybe Quadri in Piazza San Marco in Venice a href="http://www.quadrivenice.com/" rel="nofollow"http://www.quadrivenice.com//a or there used to be a world cl place in Washington, DC called Cantina d'Italia. The chef there went to the Eastern Market to pick up ingredients every morning and the menu was designed from whatever was freshest and most interesting to him. The menu changed daily. Both of these were well over $100 per person. d'Vijff Vlieghen in Amsterdam would also have to be a contender - especially if you get a table in the Rembrandt Room. a href="http://www.toptable.com/en-gb/venue/?id=3668" rel="nofollow"http://www.toptable.com/en-gb/venue/?id=…/a
