UPS delivery, when will my item get here?

I bought something from eBay that was in a city 11 miles away from where I live (I live in Anaheim, California.), and today when receiving my tracking #, on the side it said that the EXPECTED delivery date would be April 8. It's April 8, and I still don't have my package. It's 3:34pm right now and according to tracking, it's been shipped via UPS ground. It's in Standard Shipping, not one day or anything like that. Would it be able to arrive today?
