Suggestions on where to live in Texas.?

I am relocating to TX and would like some suggestions on where to live. I am an LPN and would like to live somewhere that pay grade is fairly high for LPN and the cost of living is fairly low. I would also like the place that I move to be family friendly with great scenery; somewhere that is pretty. I also enjoy nightlife.
